There are just two ways to spend on Mochi, and both are simple: a one-time buyout unlocks a fixed quota that's plenty for most people, and when you want to make a little more, you top up diamonds as you go. Pay once and it's yours for good, tied to your account, never renewing on its own.

Pay once, unlocked for good. You get a solid batch of video clips, stickers, and daily chat to work with. It lives on your account, so a new machine changes nothing.
Diamonds = top up as you go
Quota gone and still want more? No need to bump up a whole tier. Just buy a few diamonds and keep going. Spend what you spend, leave the rest, and they never expire.

What diamonds are for
When your plan's quota runs out, or you want something the quota doesn't cover (stylized videos — cartoon, chibi, pixel), diamonds fill the gap. One is about ¥0.10, every cost is listed below, and nothing is ever charged on its own.
How to top up
First top-up is doubled: ¥6 gets you 120. Diamond prices stay the same no matter which tier you bought.

Is it a one-time payment or monthly?
One time, and it's yours for good. It's tied to your account, not your machine, and nothing renews on its own. Same price wherever you buy it.
Is "unlimited chat" really unlimited?
For everyday chatting, yes. There's a very high daily ceiling running quietly in the background, only there to stop bots hammering the servers, and normal company never comes close to it.
Do diamonds expire?
Nope. Top up, let them sit, spend them whenever. You only ever use what you use.
What if I run through my plan's quota?
No need to jump a whole tier up. Grab a handful of diamonds and make a few more clips or stickers, just enough for what you're after.
What do I get for free?
All the everyday stuff, no charge: a bunch of built-in pets to hang out with, a chat with them every day, and the whole mood, memory and growth system switched on. Want your own pet on the desktop too? Upgrade to unlock uploads and you're set.
Can I upgrade or get a refund?
Every tier is a one-time purchase that lasts forever. To move up, just buy a higher tier in the app. Picked the wrong one, or changed your mind? Message support and we'll refund what you actually paid, and your access settles onto whichever tier that leaves you on.
