Installing takes three steps

Hit the button above and grab the installer.

Open the file and drag Mochi into Applications. On Windows, just keep clicking Next.

Launch Mochi, pick a pet, give it a name. It moves onto your desktop from there.

A security warning the first time you open it? That's normal — new apps haven't earned the system's trust yet. Nothing's wrong with Mochi.

Mac: if it says it "can't verify the developer", open System Settings → Privacy & Security and click "Open Anyway".

Windows: if "Windows protected your PC" shows up, click "More info" → "Run anyway".
